Be creative! Be descriptive! We want you to find your people and make Black Rock City what it is. Only a small number of submissions are rejected.
Please review the guidelines below for submission content that will be flagged during review:

Names of business entities, including nonprofits. Examples: yoga studios, meditation centers, performance collectives, or dojos.

Names of living professional performers, artists, DJs, authors, coaches, or wellness practitioners. We verify using public sources. If we can quickly find booking information, a business Instagram account, or a Bandcamp page, your listing will be edited or rejected.

Direct promotional listings. For example, "Ellie May plays her newly-released album" will not be accepted. However, themed events like "Frank Sinatra Sing-Along" or "David Bowie Listening Party" are great!

Offers of goods or services for sale or in exchange for value. Example: e-bike rentals.

Offensive language or content meant to harm or target individuals or groups.

Consumer brand names. Example: naming specific brands of beer or whiskey in an event listing.

Note: Events intended for mature audiences are welcome, we have a dedicated category for those.
